fuck my original note and fuck diplomacy. if you're somehow reading this (what are you doing here), i am so glad i left mcyttwt. i will never forgive the fake cunts who switched up on techno and dogpiled him in 2021 only to turn around and shed performative tears over his cancer and death. you're all horrible spineless people and your harrassment campaign wasn't even CLOSE to activism. i hope you feel guilt forever.(also yeah, i know, my @ is horrendous. in 2021 — when i left my account — i was still operating on "separate art from the artist" rules. but i'm not going to change the @ because this carrd and my account are archives. i won't change anything from them, asides from adding this note, because i'm not going to be disingenuous and pretend like i have never made poor judgement calls, unlike the people who pretended they never had a phase of wanting techno dead and claimed they "always loved him" when he actually died.)

yeah, i know, no one cares. but this is for closure and for myself more than anything.hi. i consider my account to be abandoned. the only reasons i'm still keeping this carrd up and my account public are because i spent too long on this stupid carrd to delete it, and also because i felt it would be disingenuous to wipe everything and pretend i was never here, considering i've been in mcyttwt since 2019.so. disclaimers and explanations.yes, i am aware that technoblade has said things in the past that have been problematic and/or hurtful. this includes jokes that have made me feel uncomfortable, and that i do not find funny, agree with or condone. but it also includes jokes (that technically target minority groups that i am a part of) that i think were blown far out of proportion when used to "hold him accountable". i do think it's important to educate but i cannot agree with the action of digging up old shit with malicious intent, which is exactly what happened.despite all that, i am continuing to enjoy his content in a private sphere. that's partially due to hyperfixation (it's been almost two years and shows no sign of going away anytime soon) and partially because i believe in the sentiment of "everything's problematic bitch, let's get you the ability to criticise media and still enjoy it".i no longer consider myself part of mcyttwt. the twitter fandom has grown increasingly unbearable to me in the past year and nowadays the community as a whole just exhausts me. the discourse is genuinely repulsive. the way stans treat content creators and police their actions (especially ranboo, jesus fucking christ, let that dude breathe) is fucking abhorrent. i'm out. this self-righteous self-destructive hellhole stopped being fun a long time ago, and it's just not worth it anymore. i'll miss the good times i had in the beginning of it all, but this godforsaken community is no longer worth the embarrassment that comes with being in it.maybe hypocritically, i still participate in the mcyt fandom on tumblr to a degree. i can't honestly say i've ever really enjoyed being in that part of the fandom but i still need the space to be a fan somewhere, and anything's better than twitter. i'm not saying what my url is, because i'll go to hell before i link this account to any of my other social media.welp. it's been a good run.
